We finally leaped though all the hoops and divulged every piece of personal information, short of giving away our first child to the bank. But finally, we are HOME OWNERS! IT was amazing to walk into our house without a realtor, and without other people's belongings everywhere.
So we thought....Oh my goodness was the house filthy!! I thought a little cleanup was going to be in order of course, but we were cleaning for a good half of a day before even starting any projects or painting!
Front Entry, we still aren't sure if its supposed to be a yellowish tinge or if that's from the hint of cigarette smoke tainted through the whole house...yummy!!

Grime everywhere, a septic issue, and everything bleached (right down to the switch plate covers), we were ready to paint. I'm so thankful to all the family members who helped on this not so glamorous day of the reno project. But it was the jump start of what needed to be done to get on with the more exciting projects. I can't wait to share some of our painting extravaganzas that have taken place over the past week. It is amazing "Paint changes everything!"
Yay!!! So happy to see an update! I can't wait to see all of the "afters".
